Princess Máxima Centre for Paediatric Oncology

The Princess Máxima Centre for Paediatric Oncology (PMC) is the national paediatric oncology centre which brings together specialised care, research, education and training.

The PMC is a new initiative in which the best possible integrated care for children with cancer is concentrated. In cooperation and coordination with the ‘Shared Care’ centres, the UMC Utrecht and the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital, it was decided that the PMC will be located at De Uithof in Utrecht.

Based on the second opinion we provided, it was decided to, at the beginning of 2014, amend an earlier preliminary design in line with the frameworks currently in effect for the visual quality plan. We are assisting the PMC by providing general project support, independent policy advice and risk management in putting together the amended structure plan and preliminary and definitive design, after which the project can subsequently be tendered out on the level of DO+.
